Hanson Develops New Facebook App Competition
With the launch of its warm and delicious dessert, CuppaCake, McDonald’s South Africa asked Hanson Design to create a promotional campaign that would stimulate trial and increase product awareness and sales.
With social media serving as the number one means of communication, Hanson’s creative drove a Facebook campaign, 'I Love CuppaCake with Friends,' incorporating the CuppaCake themes of friends, sharing, warmth and indulgence.
Promoting CuppaCake through Facebook allowed for maximum viewer potential, and targeted a mass audience by offering a prize of R10,000.
The campaign was launched June 15th, 2012 with the winner determined by the highest number of 'likes.'Services Provided
