The Objective: To create the feel and look of motion and high energy for the “Maximum Power Cola” which would appeal to the target audience,
16 to 38 year old male consumers.

The Solution: Based upon Hanson research, an energetic combination of typography and colors were used for maximum impact. The bright yellow and white EDGE, reminiscent of a Comet traveling though space, seems to jump frenetically off the shattered, bold, blue background creating a dynamic
3-dimensional effect. The spirited label captures the essence of the powerful cola while at the same time complementing the distinctive diamond-shaped bottle used by Triarc beverages. The well-known “RC” logo overlaps the EDGE name for brand continuity and assurance of quality.
