CREATIVE DIRECTOR
The Creative Director for Hanson Associates Inc. should possess the highest creative design standards with extensive and varied advertising, design and web design experience. He/she should have a thorough understanding of the creative process and exhibit confidence in their work. He/she also must possess good leadership and interpersonal skills, and be able to manage relationships with clients easily.
This individual will provide the creative strategy and solution to the client’s project objectives, and be responsible for meeting those objectives. Must have an extensive and diverse portfolio in web design, print, identity, advertising, signage and packaging.
Must be an innovative and creative hands-on designer with thorough knowledge of all the most recent design and web-design programs. Must have a passion for design excellence with the ability to motivate, inspire and direct others. Should understand how to develop, manage and safeguard the graphic integrity and standards of brands, subbrands, trademarks and visual equities across all visual communications. Responsible for the entire design process from concept up to, but not including, production. However, candidate must have knowledge of the entire production and prepress process to insure the successful outcome of projects.
This position will report directly to the Principal of the firm, and manage, direct, train and evaluate all positions from Assistant Designers to Art Directors to external design resources.
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Design, Graphic Arts or related field.
Experience: Prefer 10 years design experience with management experience |
